  • First Ship of 2017
    at the Port of Belledune
    The Belledune Port Authority (BPA) officially greeting Captain Sergiy Dolmatov,
    Master of the Tundra, the first ship to lay anchor at the Port of Belledune in 2017.

    The Tundra is registered in Limassol, Cyprus and her last port of call before arriving in
    Belledune was Fortalexa, Brazil. The vessel’s agent is Calypso Marine Agency (CMA),
    represented by Robert Lagace. The Tundra docked at the Port of Belledune on
    January 5, 2017, where the vessel is currently loading approximately 22,000 MT
    of wood pellets. The next stop for the vessel will be Hull, UK.

The Port of Belledune not only ships out almost 10% of Canada’s Wood Pellet Exports annually but has seen over 500,000 tonnes exported on 55 vessels since 2008. The Port of Belledune is an ideal export port for wood pellets on the east coast of Canada.
