We believe that development is a communal effort and that only through effective cooperation will economic development goals be met.

Welcome aboard the Belledune Port Authority website! I am delighted that you have taken the time to discover our many advantages and opportunities as well as the unlimited possibilities we offer.

Our modern equipment and infrastructure include a new barge terminal, a new roll on-roll off terminal and new Modular Component Fabrication Facility.  We are a year-round, ice-free, deep-water port and offer efficient stevedoring always ensuring the integrity of your cargo. The Port has over 650 hectares of outdoor terminal storage space and vacant land for development and over 15,000 square meters of indoor storage capacity -- a definite competitive advantage for bulk, break-bulk and general cargoes. Our location on the Chaleur Bay in northeastern New Brunswick allows us to offer some of the shortest shipping routes between points in Europe, North America and Canada’s arctic regions. The Belledune Port Authority is your solution and can assist in all sectors of the industry.

Our efforts are always community-oriented and market driven.  We believe that development is a communal effort and that only through effective cooperation will economic development goals be met. In this spirit, we have a proud history of partnering with all levels of government and with our stakeholders in all of our strategies.

We offer diversity, innovation and have a reputation for excellence.  To continue to achieve these substainable results, the Belledune Port Authority benefits from a dynamic and engaged Board of Directors and a professional and committed staff. It is a privilege to work with this entire team and I extend my personal appreciation for their dedication to our mandate.

Thank you for visiting with us today. We look forward to helping you plan your shipping needs and welcoming you aboard to experience: “Belledune…Unlimited!”
